பிரிட்டிஷ் தேர்தலில் கன்சர்வேடிவ் கட்சி தனிப்பெரும் கட்சியாக ஆட்சி அமைக்கிறது- 325 இடங்களில் வெற்றி

தனியாக ஆட்சி அமைக்க 1 ஆசனம் தேவை - உமா குமரன் தோல்வி - ரணில் ஜெயவர்த்தன வெற்றி:-

பிரிட்டனில் நடந்த பொதுத்தேர்தலில் ஆளும் கன்சர்வேடிவ் கட்சி தொடர்ந்து முன்னேறி வருகிறது.

இது வரை தெரிந்த சுமார் 540 தொகுதிகளுக்கான முடிவுகளில் கன்சர்வேடிவ் கட்சி இதுவரை 274 இடங்களில் வென்றிருக்கிறது. பிரதான எதிர்க்கட்சியான தொழிற்கட்சிக்கு இதுவரை 216 இடங்களே கிடைத்துள்ளன.

ஸ்காட்லாந்தின் ஆளும் பிராந்தியக் கட்சியான, ஸ்காட்லாந்து தேசியக் கட்சி அந்த மாகாணத்தின் 59 தொகுதிகளில் 55 இடங்களை வென்று நாட்டின் மூன்றாவது பெரிய கட்சியாக உருவெடுத்திருக்கிறது.

இதுவரை ஆளும் கூட்டணியில் அங்கம் வகித்த கட்சியும், நாட்டின் மூன்றாவது பெரிய கட்சியாகவும் இருந்த லிபரல் ஜனநாயகக் கட்சி படுதோல்வியை சந்தித்து வருகிறது.

பிரதமர் டேவிட் கேமரன் அவரது விட்னி தொகுதியில் வெற்றி அடைந்துள்ளார்.

லிபரல் ஜனநாயகக் கட்சியின் முக்கிய தலைவர்களில் ஒருவரான வின்செண்ட் கேபிள் மற்றும் முன்னாள் அமைச்சர் எட் டேவி, முன்னாள் தலைமை கருவூல செயலர் டேனி அலெக்ஸாண்டர் ஆகியோர் தோல்வி அடைந்துள்ளனர்.

ஆனால் லிபெரல் ஜனநாயகக் கட்சியின் தலைவ்ர் நிக் கிளெக் தனது ஷெபீல்ட் ஹாலம் தொகுதியில் வென்றுள்ளார்.

ஸ்காட்லாந்தில் ஸ்காட்லாந்து தொழிற்கட்சி தலைவர்கள் ஜிம் மர்பி, டக்ளஸ் அலெக்ஸாண்டர் ஆகியோர் ஸ்காட்லாந்து தேசியக் கட்சியிடம் தோல்வியடைந்துள்ளனர்.

தேர்தல் வெற்றி பற்றி கருத்து தெரிவித்த பிரதமர் டேவிட் கேமரன் " கன்சர்வேடிவ் கட்சியின் பொருளாதாரத் திட்டங்களை தொடர்ந்து முன்னெடுக்கப்போவதாகவும் ஐக்கிய ராஜ்ஜியத்தின் ஒற்றுமைக்குப் பாடுபடப்போவதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.

தேர்தல் முடிவுகள் ஏமாற்றமளிப்பதாக தொழிற்கட்சித் தலைவர் எட் மிலிபாண்ட் தெரிவித்திருக்கிறார்.

பிரித்தானிய நாடாளுமன்றத் தேர்தலில் தொழிற்கட்சி சார்பில் போட்டியிட்ட ஈழத் தமிழரான உமா குமரன், ஹரோ ஈஸ்ட் தொகுதியில் கொன்சர்வேட்டிவ் வேட்பாளரிடம் தோல்வியடைந்தார்.

சற்று முன்னர் வெளியிடப்பட்ட தேர்தல் முடிவி்ன் படி, ஹரோ ஈஸ்ட் தொகுதியில் கொன்சர்வேட்டிவ் வேட்பாளர் பொப் பிளக்மன் 24,668 வாக்குகளைப் பெற்று வெற்றி பெற்றார். இவர் மீண்டும் இந்த தொகுதியில் இருந்து தெரிவாகியுள்ளார்.

இரண்டாவது இடத்தைப் பிடித்த, உமா குமரனுக்கு 19,911 வாக்குகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.


அதேவேளை, ஹம்ப்செயர் வட கிழக்குத் தொகுதியில் கொன்சர்வேட்டிவ் கட்சி சார்பில் போட்டியிட்ட, மற்றொரு இலங்கையரான, ரணில் ஜெயவர்த்தன, சுமார் 30 ஆயிரம் வாக்குகளால் வெற்றி பெற்றுள்ளார். அவருக்கு 35,573 வாக்குகள் கிடைத்துள்ளன.
